Web browser page setup (Firefox & IE)

The printable versions of ITw3 websites are best viewed in Mozilla Firefox (recommended) or Microsoft Internet Explorer, as either of these web browsers will print a correctly formatted header and footer on each page.

The quickest way to access these settings on either browser is to press ALT-F followed by U.

We recommend no header and only "Page x of x" in the footer, with a 12mm margin all round.  Refer to the screen shots for more information.

What about Apple Safari and Google Chrome?

Apple Safari and Google Chrome only print the footer on the last page of a multi-page document. This is beyond the control of ITw3 as these browsers do not interpret HTML TFOOT and CSS TABLE-FOOTER-GROUP standards correctly, which is surprising as normally its only Microsoft that shuns standards.
